Violet Ida is a fragrance that evokes confidence in 1930's Britain, where Ida Arnold, a heroine of Graham Greene's iconic novel Brighton Rock, wears violet in her hair and represents goodness, tenacity and morality.

The fragrance opens with a sweet fresh citrus and herbaceous note of bergamot and carrot seed, but the dark heroine is brought instantly to the fore with a deep exclusive presence of Orris butter from Tuscany. Vanilla and amber bring a modernity and smoothness to the rich, evocative scent, evoking a contrast of old and new and polished refinement.
